We have been respecting the Softball BC suspsension of all Softball Related activities since March but we are now moving into the next phase with Softball BC releasing their Return to Play Guidelines on June 10th.
Please read through the Softball BC Return to Play document Here.
With these new guidelines in place we can start to plan for a return to our fields. Our new season will look different but will be safe as the safety of our player and families is always our top priority. All plans will be following the guidance given by ViaSport and Softball BC.
The Return to Play Guidelines include Innings or Phases that we will be abiding by and will only be moving forward through once we have approval from Softball BC. There are no specific dates attached to any Inning, as of yet.
Inning 1 – Controlled Practice and Skill Development U1- & Up
Inning 2 – Controlled Skill Development for our TimBits – U6 & U8
Inning 3 – Community Focused Games – U10 & Up. This will potentially include Langley and Abbotsford teams.
Inning 4 – Competitive Games with Neighboring Communities.
Inning 5 – Competitive Games – Inter-Regional, Cross-Provincial, & Tournaments
Our 2020 season will be a modified version of our regular programming but will still give our players the opportunity to get outside, build their skills, socialize with their friends, as well as the possibility of games, if they are comfortable. Once we get to games, we are pleased to announce that there are no rule changes, only safety and sanitation recommendations.
We are home to Fraser Valley Fusion A program and the Langley Xtreme B program, in partnership with North Langley Softball. For all the details on our Rep program please Click Here.
